Testimonial from the President

Q1 What was the status of your company’s international expansion at the beginning?

After thinking about international expansion, we went to the local market to gather information, consulted JETRO, the Chamber of Commerce, the Texas Japan Office, and the bank, and for a year after that, we had gathered information but had not made any concrete progress.

Q2 Did the advice you received from Paccloa have a positive impact on your international expansion?

Ms. Ogawa’s advice helped us find the path we should take.

Things that had stopped before started to flow forward at once. However, I was able to not only move forward, but also to move steadily forward while hedging my risks.

We were able to expand internationally in less than a year after Ms. Ogawa’s advice.

In addition to advice on international expansion, she also gave us advice on how to set up our company’s structure, which gave us the opportunity to create a new structure and implement new initiatives.

Q3 What did you think of the sometimes harsh advice?

There were times when the advice was harsh, but I am grateful that we received appropriate guidance.

The advice was not irrational, but rather aimed at moving our company and myself in the right direction.

I received not only harsh advice, but also many words of encouragement and praise.

Q4 Have you consulted with any other experts or consultants regarding international expansion?

We consulted with JETRO, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Japan Office of the State of Texas.

Q5 What, if anything, has made a lasting impression on you?

When we said we wanted to expand internationally, we were met with opposition from everyone involved, including my own family members.

I was told that it wouldn’t work, that I would fail, that I shouldn’t push myself too hard, that there were many things to do in Japan, and so on.

I was impressed that only Ms. Ogawa said to me, “There is absolutely nothing that cannot be done for international expansion (as long as you do what you have to do).

I was very grateful to have the opportunity to work with Ms.Ogawa on such matters as tenant contracts and local staff interviews, and we were able to move forward quickly.

Looking back now, I realize that I was the one who stopped myself from expanding internationally because I did not have confidence in my ability to do so.

Ms. Ogawa gave me a big push, which gave me confidence, and I was able to move forward with more concrete steps.

We were able to open a branch overseas,

I will never forget her words, “The real hard part is yet to come.

She was right.

She had experience with many companies, so she was able to understand the situation and gave us appropriate advice without wasting time.

I can’t thank her enough for all she has done for me.
